Match the lock to the use pattern
Ask one question first: do users keep the same locker, or rotate? Permanent assignment favors PIN or fingerprint (no cards to hand out). Rotating use favors RFID cards or single-use card modes, because cards can be re-issued instantly. For wet areas such as pools and spas, hidden electric locks with auto-bounce doors survive better because there is no exposed keypad.
Installation and maintenance reality check
