9002 RFID Push Button Start & Hidden Immobilizer System

RFID Push Start + Immobilizer

The 9002 is a 12V push button start system with a built-in hidden immobilizer. The engine starts and stops at the push of a button, and can also be remote-started and remote-stopped from a distance with the vehicle's original remote control. Security comes from passive RFID ID cards: 15 seconds after the engine is switched off the system locks the engine automatically, and the car cannot be started — even if the wiring is cut or the main unit is removed — without touching a card to the concealed sensing coil. The cards carry no battery, their data is write-protected, and their 12 cm sensing range blocks code interception and scanning.

Reliable supply for wholesale buyers:

Two functions in one entry-level SKU — push button start plus hidden immobilizer · supplier-confirmed DC 12V platform with 8 mA standby draw · processed and shipped in 3–5 days after order confirmation.

Product Overview

The 9002 combines two products in one 12V platform: a push button engine start/stop system and a concealed RFID immobilizer. After the engine is shut down, the system arms itself automatically after 15 seconds and locks the engine; to drive again, the driver simply touches a passive ID card to the hidden sensing coil — the main unit beeps twice to confirm disarming — and presses the start button. Because the ID card is battery-free, write-protected and readable only within 12 cm, it cannot be cloned over the air, scanned or intercepted, and the vehicle cannot be started by removing the immobilizer unit or tampering with the circuits.

For wholesale buyers the 9002 covers three installation scenarios with one SKU: vehicles with no remote or alarm at all (vans, small A0-class cars), vehicles that already carry an aftermarket alarm (Steelmate, PLC and similar), and vehicles already equipped with a PKE keyless system, where the 9002 adds the immobilizer and push-button layer on top. Standby current is only 8 mA — about one month of continuous standby — so it does not drain the battery in daily use.

Key Features

The following functions are taken from the supplier-confirmed technical parameters for the 9002:

Push Button Start/Stop

Start and stop the engine with one button; powers up on ACC/ON.

Hidden Immobilizer (Auto Lock)

15 seconds after the engine is switched off the system arms itself and locks the engine automatically; the button LED goes out in the armed state.

Remote Start/Stop via Original Remote

Start or stop the engine from a distance using the vehicle's original remote control.

Passive RFID ID Cards

Cards carry no battery, so they cannot be drained by static or wear out; card data is written before sealing and cannot be changed, guaranteeing a unique, non-duplicable card number.

12 cm Anti-Theft Sensing Range

The card is read only within 12 cm of the coil, blocking over-the-air interception and scanner-based theft; the antenna is hidden at a self-positioned location for maximum concealment.

Tamper-Proof Starting

Even if the main unit is removed or the circuits are cut or rewired, the engine cannot be started — the immobilizer logic stays with the card.

Brake-Light Flash & Alarm

Each brake press flashes the brake light 4 times, then holds it steady; pressing the brake illegally before disarming flashes the brake light as an alarm for 15 seconds.

Simple Daily Use

Touch the ID card to the hidden coil to disarm (the unit beeps twice); leave the car and the system re-arms by itself — no buttons to remember.

Three Application Scenarios

One SKU covers three installation situations, so resellers can serve a wide customer base:

No Remote, No Alarm

Vans & small A0-class cars

Vehicles with neither a remote key nor an alarm gain push button start/stop, the hidden immobilizer, brake-light flash and brake alarm in one upgrade.

Existing Aftermarket Alarm

Steelmate, PLC & similar

On cars already fitted with a conventional alarm, the 9002 adds the hidden immobilizer layer on top — push button start/stop, engine lock, brake-light flash and brake alarm.

Existing PKE System

Smart keyless entry cars

Paired with an installed PKE keyless entry system, the 9002 adds the immobilizer plus push button start/stop, brake-light flash and brake alarm for a smarter, safer vehicle.

Installer note from the supplier: when the push button is used with the key turned to ACC to release the steering lock, disconnect the ignition connector behind the original lock cylinder to prevent ACC battery drain on the original audio system. When both the original key start and the push button start are to remain usable, the original ignition connector can stay connected and the key need not remain in the lock.

Vehicle Compatibility & Installation

The 9002 is a DC 12V system (24V is not supported). Thanks to its three application scenarios it fits vehicles with no remote or alarm, vehicles with an existing aftermarket alarm, and vehicles already equipped with a PKE system. Before ordering, send us:

  • Vehicle make and model
  • Vehicle voltage (the 9002 requires 12V)
  • Existing alarm or keyless system, if any
  • Required functions

We will confirm suitability and any vehicle-specific wiring requirements. Professional installation is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the hidden immobilizer work?

15 seconds after the engine is switched off, the system arms itself and locks the engine automatically. The car cannot be started again until a registered ID card is touched to the concealed sensing coil — the main unit beeps twice to confirm disarming. Even removing the immobilizer unit or cutting or rewiring the circuits will not allow the engine to start.

Can the ID card be cloned or intercepted?

No. The card data is written before the card is sealed and cannot be changed afterwards, guaranteeing a unique card number. The card is passive (no battery) and is read only within 12 cm of the coil, so over-the-air interception and scanner-based attacks are not possible.

What functions does the 9002 support?

Supplier-confirmed: push button engine start/stop, automatic immobilizer arming 15 seconds after shutdown, remote start/stop via the vehicle's original remote control, passive RFID ID card authorization with a 12 cm sensing range, concealed antenna installation, brake-light flash on braking and a 15-second brake-light alarm on unauthorized brake press.

Does the 9002 support 24V vehicles?

No. The supplier confirms the 9002 works on DC 12V only — 24V supply is not supported. It is designed for 12V passenger cars, vans and small A0-class vehicles.

Will it drain the car battery?

Standby current is only 8 mA — the supplier states the system can stand by continuously for up to about one month without draining a healthy battery. In the armed state the system cuts power and the button LED is off.

Where can I find the 9002 installation instructions?

Our 9002 push button start installation guide covers the full procedure from the supplier's 9002 manual: normal operating behaviour, relocating the original transponder chip, locating the 6P start-function wires, the four wiring questions installers ask about, and troubleshooting by symptom. Always verify wire colours against the official manual supplied with your unit.
